It’s a new year – And it is going to be eventful

Happy New Year……I know I know we are in February but what can I say? Better late than never.

Since we started this site, we haven’t got much going but this year promises to be different.

Firstly, we have partnered with The Animation West Africa Network (AWA) to ensure that we move the industry forward and maybe at a faster pace.

Secondly, the year ended on a high with Anthill Studios releasing the awesome animation Plaything. You can watch it below.

There are also plans to engage more people in competitions like the AWA contest with exciting rewards.

So stay tuned and have an amazing 2017.

Over time, the underground CGI Industry has continue to develop within Africa. The growth of the industry has however faced its own challenges.

One of such challenges has been the lack of a focal point where 3D Artists, Compositors, Animators and other industry players can come together and collaborate.
The CGI hub was created to bridge that gap. It intends to bring News about the  African CGI industry (Which is hugely lacking), be educative and be as interractive as possible.
The goal is to be the home of every player in the Computer Generated Imagery industry in Africa.
Help build this community and have fun while doing that.
You can go over to the forum and be sure to also check the blog regularly.
Thank you
